Essential Digital Techniques for Photographers™

Level 1

Course "Digi Level 1"

This Level 1 workshop will be conducted by DF Connors and/or Tony Kurdzuk, and is designed to give each participant a good overview of the digital workflow - digital shooting; using Photoshop® and other programs as a "digital darkroom"; and printing your files to color and black&white digital printers.

Those photographers who have never used a digital camera nor Photoshop® are welcome, as well as those who already have some digital shooting and image processing experience. Our goal is to help each participant gain a deeper understanding of digital shooting, digital darkroom techniques, and quality output. The course will be taught using the latest version of Photoshop® (currently CS), though most of the material covered will apply to earlier versions as well.

Each classroom workshop will be conducted in Belle Mead, NJ, just 4 miles north of Princeton.

Your investment for each workshop includes instruction, printed handouts with steps & procedures, and your own copy of a MAC/PC CD-ROM with course materials, calibration images, helpful Photoshop® actions, practice images that have been used in class and demo versions of useful utilities and programs.

Enrollment is limited to no more than 8 participants and is on a first-come-first-served basis.

Covered topics include:
